If exposed to any of the above, the gold plating will, over time, fade and turn silver. It is recommended to avoid strong blows, since we must not forget that gems have a reaction to impact similar to glass. It is extremely fragile. It is resistant, but it is advisable to be extremely careful with falls and shocks.
