The name Mr. Larkin is a collective muse, an identity shaped by the people and places encountered throughout founder Casey Larkin Blond’s nomadic life. The character first appeared as a simple doodle on Blond’s school papers, eventually following her into the world of fashion design & sales where colleagues officially dubbed him "Mr. Larkin." Today, the brand pays homage to that original sketch as the quintessential old merchant curating beautiful things.

What began in 2008 as a locally produced womenswear line in San Francisco has evolved into much more after a brief hiatus to start a family and relocate to her husband’s native Scandinavia, the brand was reborn in Copenhagen with a renewed, global perspective. Today, Blond has bridged her design heritage with her mother’s retail background, evolving Mr. Larkin into a premier destination for thoughtful beauty and personal style. With boutiques in Copenhagen and Houston, and a curated digital flagship, the shop serves as a home for both Mr. Larkin’s exclusive seasonal collections and a handpicked edit of independent labels like Jesse Kamm, Rachel Comey, Tigra Tigra and more.

In May 2022, Mr. Larkin opened its first U.S. location in Houston, Texas. The Houston store brings the brand’s distinct aesthetic to a new audience, offering its in-house collections alongside a curated selection of independent designers from around the world.
